The astigiano from the economical point of view is an of the richest zones of Piedmont because whether the agriculture or the industry, textile above, are areas drawing. The zone is very rich also from the artistic point of view: to visit monuments and buildings of the romanico-gothic period that Torre Comentina, the Palazzo of Bellino, the Battistero of San Pietro and the churche of San Secondo. In the Asti center a square and a road titled the famous poet Vittorio Alfieri remember us that he had his Christmases in this town.
