"Toe of the boot" : almost 800 kilometers of costs where alternate reefs to summit on the sea and wonderful beaches, the hinterland raises as imposing mountains with peaks of over 2000 meters; good part of the territory was declared as natural reserve and founded three National Parks. The Calabria, heart of antique Greece, offers rich archaeological itineraries and museums that take care of all pieces, ancient monasteries of Byzantine, castles and towers that raise themselves on a emerald sea; this region is not only interesting but also the place you must go, therefore do not forget the traditional prescriptions and the typical products of land and sea for the delight of the palate. Calabria is bounded to the north by the region of Basilicata, to the south-west by the Region of Sicily, to the west by the Tyrrhenian Sea, and to the east by the Ionian Sea.
