Region is known for the marine localities and the three large National Parks: in Abruzzo almost one third of the total surface is natural reserve. There is no place better than here for the lovers of trips, for who is fascinated with wild plants and wild animals, to admire pure landscapes and to enjoy yourself with a splendid sea. Abruzzo is a region in central Italy lying just 70 miles east of Rome and bordering Marche to the north, Lazio to the west and south-west, Molise to the south-east and the Adriatic Sea to the east. Although geographically a central region, from a cultural and economical point of view it part of the Mezzogiorno or Southern Italy.
This small region is a pearl between Campania to the west, Calabria to the south and Puglia to the east, in the extremity south of Italy, surrounded by the two seas, the mouth of five rivers, high mountains raise on its territory. Towns have rich of story, monuments, art and archeology, for example.. Metaponto bring us testimonies of the stone age and the wreckage of Greek ancient, "Stones" of Matera, the castles of Federico II at the benedettine abbeys. Basilicata has one short coastline on the Tyrrhenian Sea and another of the Gulf of Taranto in the Ionian Sea to the south-east. The region covers 9,992 km² and in 2001 had a population of about 600,000 inhabitants. The regional capital is Potenza. The region is divided into two provinces: Potenza and Matera.

In this region the word order can be: being well and to enjoy yourself; in Emilia Romagna you can be satisfied of healthy cheerfulness and of relaxation: the sea, the therms, the parks of fun, the art, every type of entertainment and hotels for every requirement and every possibility. And you do not ignore the dishes of this region that also imitated all over the world, for example lasagna,tortellini, piadine,the best ham and the good wines. This region is surrounded with the warm welcome and the friendly people.
The easter italian region, the north part has a tormented history that related to politics and its boundaries; appears on a splendid sea that demotes gently and, in the immense lagoon where still we can admire the flight of the wild swans, cormorants and hawks of marsh. Also here, like all other regions of Italy, we have to appreciate the wines, the craftsmanship and the gastronomic products. A lot of things to see, a lot places to visit, between the Carnia and the altopiano of the Carso for the fascinated geology (sadly well-known also for the battles that during the first World War and the partisan resistance). Friuli-Venezia Giulia borders the region of Veneto to the west, the republics of Austria and Slovenia to the north and east, and the Adriatic Sea to the south.
One of the Italian regions with richest history, myths, legends and archeological sites. Rome dosen't need its presentations, but Lazio possess a naturalistic property, historian and artistic that crosses the boundaries of the capital: the countries, the hills, the volcanic lakes, the natural parks and also some seaside locality on the costs of tirrenica meritano to be mentioned and visited. It is the heart beating of the national economy, but Lombardy offers also innumerable places of art, of fun, of sport: towns with rich histories, snow-covered mountains in winter and glaciers for the summer ski, the lakes, the traditional dishes of every place, that delights gluttons with the tastes of the land,this region gives us many surprises and possibilities.
Marche is in the center of Italy, faces on the Adriatic and brags its seaside localities, characterized by the mild climate and large beaches perfectly supplied. Visiting the the inland through a thriving country that gives way to the majesty of the Sybilline Mountains and the Monti della Laga, that are parts of the National park of the Gran Sasso. Region with rich history and archaeological sites disposes all ingredients for a cultural vacation and amusement. Marche is located in the Central area of the country, bordering Emilia-Romagna and the republic of San Marino to the north, Tuscany to the north-west, Umbria to west, Abruzzo and Lazio to the south, and the Adriatic Sea to the east.
A small stroke of Molise face to the Adriatic, where calm seaside localities with beaches supplied, besides the large center inhabited of Termoli: rich of history and recently thrown like a spot for tourist thanks to the evocative Towers of the times of the Saracen, to the churches, the castles, the development of the capacity and the services. In the inland there are innumerable archaeological sites, Italian ruins, Samnites and Romen. It borders with France, Switzerland and the Italian regions of Lombardy, Liguria and Aosta Valley. The percentage of the territory which is a protected area is 7.6%. There are 56 different national parks.
The "heel" of the boot in which proud of its landscape and natur: about hundred kilometers of beaches and a land of fertile and rich story. It lies between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea and is crossed by the rivers Po, Adige, Brenta and Piave.
