Potenza, chief town of Basilicata and its province is immersed between a flat zone and fascinating muontains thare are also defined the "Dolomites lucane". For this there is not a best period to visit these zones: the winter and abundant snowfalls that in the last years cover the adjacent mountains, give back picturesque the landscapes while ih summer the magnificent colors that put on the hills and the meadows do that also this season is perfect period to be able to stay. The province has splendid monuments to visit, between which the historical center of Potenza characterized from the old town and Via Pretoria called also " lounge" of Potenza, as there are numerous shops, pastry shops and coffee that are attractions for meetings and for strolled and finally the castle of Lagopèsole to rectangular plant with walls to bugnato.
