A small charming region, located the extreme north of Italy, a jewlery for lovers of the nature, of the mountain and of good foods. The Valle d'Aosta offers pure panoramas and antique traditions. In winter snow and kilometers of tracks, in summer meadows and feeling of walk in the sun, they complete the the therme and the Casino of Saint-Vincent for an ideal vacation for all. The Aosta Valley is a mountainous Region in north-western Italy. It is bordered by France to the west, Switzerland to the north and the region of Piedmont to the south and east.

The Valley is an outdoor adventure lovers dream in the summer months it offers a wide range of climbing and hiking options above the valley floor. In the winter the valley is at the heart of the Italian skiing experience with such famous areas as Courmayer located here.

- Gamay - the local variety of red wine grown on the terraced vineyards visible along the steep rock walls of the valley. It is a light red and doesn't age well so its best to be enjoyed on site in full view of the land it was grown on.
